Mainfreight proposes that all orders are picked and packed using our voice technology. Using the voice pick order fulfilment system, Mainfreight propose to set a service standard of 99.9% picking accuracy. As part of this system Mainfreight also achieves greater productivity, as the voice pick system offers a paperless and hand- free solution. Voice Technology also allows our team members to do multiple picks for small order quantities.
Voice pick would allow team members to pick and pack product from different zones in the warehouse. This technology also enables both parties to measure the time taken to complete each order. This information is displayed on our website, so that the customers are aware of their order status. This data can also be used to review the rate structures on a regular basis, to ensure that the variable pricing structure is fair and consistent.
