Mainfreight’s Freight Management computer programme is designed to:

• Produce all freighting documentation
• Produce product labels
• Electronically transmit distribution data to the Mainfreight mainframe
• Electronically receive data on consignment status (tracking)
• Can be networked so multiple users can access FreMan (create notes or print reports)
• Use your own packing slip or reference number as the consignment note number
• Uploading the consignment notes to us on daily basis benefits both parties with time and cost savings, as well as reducing the possibility of error by data punching.

The time saving customers have made through computer generated consignment notes and labels are significant. The ability to receive real time tracking information, pricing and a number of KPI reports really does make this the ultimate freight management tool.

FreMan also has the ability to manage equipment such as company or Chep pallets as a cost control measure.

A recent upgrade will enable whatever you want to send their customers an email notifying them of an order’s despatch on Mainfreight, with a direct link through to our tracking site so that your customers can track their inbound orders directly over the internet without needing to contact whatever you want with these enquiries.

Your responsibility is to provide the necessary hardware, whilst Mainfreight provides the software (with regular upgrades), training and support.
