What are Pop-up ads?

Pop-up ads are advertisements that "pop up" in new windows while you are browsing the Internet.

Why am I getting so many Pop-ups while I'm browsing the internet?

There are several reasons for this; a few of them are listed below.

• The website that you are visiting has set Pop-up ads scheduled to launch periodically while you are on their site.
• Another possibility is that you visited a site while surfing, and it launched pop-up windows in the background. These ads are known as "Pop-unders" since they pop up behind your regular browser window and aren’t immediately visible.
• Other Web pages trigger pop-ups when you leave the site.
